My History

Webdesigning was not something I did, about 1 and 1/2 years ago. Back then I hardly went on the computer, unless it was for playing games, and most of the time I watched telly and hung out with my friends, oh how times have changed. But then my friends started using piczo (actually I also was being nosy and overhead a boy talk about piczo) so I googled it and found the site and set up an account. That was in early 2006, and the site was called summer-whispers. I thought it was really good, even though I didn't have any content, and my site was really glittery and horrid.But then I found sweet-song-16 and simply-basix and they inspired me. My site soon became super popular and had loads of extras. But then piczo started adding toolbars, more adverts and profile pages. I knew that freewebs didn't have any adds, but I didn't want to join because I didn't know much HTML and I thought my site would turn out rubbish. But then I found a freewebs site called stronger- and his site was really nice and plain, so I used his as a role model and signed up for freewebs.

The new site was called emergency-love and was really great. But when I started it, I didn't quite know what to do. At the time I knew quite alot of HTML but it was hard planning out the site using only HTML. I managed to make really bad homepages and then I abandoned it for three weeks. During the holidays though I added loads of pages and I changed the layout to a nice new layout with a colour background, tables and cool HTML. I started using iframes and suddenly my site was born.

Although Emergency-love was amazing, and I kept it open for ages, I couldn't help feeling that I wanted to get hosted. I had applied at many sites, but none had excepted me. I was getting really annoyed, but then I kinda forgot about it. Untill on the 19th of march a boy named scott, who owned scenekid.net left me a message out of the blue asking if I wanted to get hosted and to msn him back. At first I didn't know what to say but after learning what ftp and php meant, I msned him and said yes. Thats how disasterous.scenekid was born...and died! Scott hosted me for a while on his other domain - too-long, but he ruined it all and all my files were deleted. I couldn't trust him or any host again and for a long time I stopped making sites.

Then, around september last year, I became more active on a message board - notebook. I made my own site called writing- on freewebs and it was a hit...and miss. That was untill I got hosted at skyefairy.net - a never ending success. Skye is helpful, kind and trustworthy and really helps me with my site. I'm so glad www.create.skyefairy.net is now up and running.
